This session is one that is near and dear to me. Here's the we all know, Facebook is about sharing posts and photos with each other. Well, I had multiple people in my newsfeed that kept sharing these blog stories from a family called the Brantley's. I would keep scrolling and go about my business until one night, I just had this gut feeling that I needed to click on this particular post and read what it was about. I'm pretty sure God was sending me a sign that I needed to read about their journey. Finally, I clicked on one of their posts, and I immediately was drawn to their story.

The Brantley's were adopting a little girl from South Korea, which is where I was born and adopted from. Immediately, I felt a connection. Of course I couldn't help but oohhh and aaahhh over the photos of Lola because she is an absolute doll! But as I kept clicking through their posts, something told me that I needed to document their arrival. See, when I was adopted, I was delivered to my family at the airport and one of my brothers video recorded the event. This is a video that I have watched over many times and is something that I will forever cherish. I wanted to do something for the Brantley's so they could have something to look back on and cherish the same way I do with mine.

So, being totally out of my comfort zone, I messaged Erin, and explained the importance to document their arrival of their newest family member. Of course, the rest is history, and little Lola was welcomed to the Brantley family by a big loving group of family and friends! Even though I had to get out of my comfort zone, I am forever grateful that I did, because I would not have gotten the chance to get to know this amazing and loving family!
